Position Overview:

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to deliver customer projects implementing Infrastructure solutions in the space of Oracle Infrastructure Cloud space. As Cloud Architect you will

• be responsible for managing cloud environments and leveraging cloud technology to solve business problems.
• work closely with stakeholders to understand customer business needs and lead cloud migration projects and teams of cloud engineers.

The following are the key roles:

• Security Management: Ensuring that the cloud infrastructure is secure and meets industry standards.
• Cloud Management Strategies: Devising and rolling out strategies to manage cloud environments effectively.
• Cost Optimization: Optimizing the cost of ownership across the enterprise.
• Governance and Compliance Monitoring: Establishing a governance and compliance monitoring framework to ensure that the cloud infrastructure is compliant with industry standards.
• Cloud Automation/Orchestration: Automating and orchestrating cloud infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Cloud Monitoring: Monitoring cloud infrastructure to ensure that it is performing optimally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing business development opportunities for new projects and participating in pre-sales/sales activities, including shaping delivery approaches, and providing effort estimates.
• Partnering with customers, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures.
• Serves as a leading contributor for customers on technical cloud solutions, identifying gaps and influencing engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.
• Defining technology roadmaps and solutions, offering detailed functional expertise in the analysis and design of business processes enabled by Oracle, and leading Cloud Migration projects.
• Displaying product/ application understanding through customized presentations, supporting customers from Proof of Concept (POC) to production deployment
• Creating/ distributing technical assets such as Solution strategy, solution maps, blog posts, and video demonstrations.
• Participation in the initial stages of large-scale global projects, focusing on the Discovery phase and conducting requirements analysis, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions.
• As a leading contributor, provide direction and mentoring to others.

Experience:

• 11 to 15 years’ experience in supporting and managing data centres, cloud/ network infrastructure, and customer-focused mission critical environments is essential.
• 5+ years’ experience of engineering, architecting, or supporting Oracle IaaS/PaaS solutions.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, Databases, and Applications, along with the ability to design Cloud Infrastructure and delve into specific details.
• Experience in migration of Infrastructure & Applications to the Cloud.
• Working with service delivery, cross functional and business teams in complex environment
• Technical / Analytical abilities in all areas of IT infrastructure including architecture, systems engineering, network infrastructure, databases, storages, backups/ disaster recovery, server deployment, operating systems, web technologies, monitoring, & security.

Educational Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an appropriate field of study; Electronics & Communications Engineering or related streams.
• Note: Excellent and/ or consistent academic record from 10th Class onwards (6.5 GPA and above).

Certifications:

• Oracle OCI Certified Architect – IaaS / PaaS or related certifications
