One of the keynote guests, Nespresso CEO Nicole Clayton, talked about how they are leveraging behavioural and sensorial analytics to enhance their customers experience when purchasing online. Additionally, Clayton discussed the potential of using blockchain technology to enhance traceability from bean to cup, while promoting reuse of precious resources through their new paper capsules.
Building a Safer and Efficient Railway Network: Insights from Network Rail’s Simon Goodman on Leveraging Oracle Cloud and IoT
Simon Goodman from Network Rail was another keynote speaker who discussed how Oracle Cloud is being used to create a data-driven railway. By leveraging the flexibility and scalability of the cloud, Network Rail is able to spin up and spin down compute resources as needed, while using IoT to monitor the railway network, reduce the time to fix problems on track and improve safety.
Unleashing the Full Potential of Cloud Computing: Highlights from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s ‘Beyond the Public Cloud’ Session
In the OCI session ‘Beyond the Public Cloud’ we learned about innovations such as dedicated region, adopted by Vodafone, where the technology of the Oracle Cloud is deployed at your data-centre. We were also impressed to hear of Oracle Alloy which empowers customers to become cloud providers themselves by building on top of the Oracle Cloud and expanding with industry specific services to support specific markets.
Transforming the Workforce with Oracle HCM Cloud: Insights from Industry Experts on Driving Innovation and Agility
Many of our customers use Oracle HCM in the cloud, so we were excited to hear the discussion around driving innovation, agility and resilience in the workforce by using these solutions. We were delighted by the way Oracle is helping companies navigate the challenges of the service-based economy and the importance of adopting a customer-centric approach and being able to deliver “anything as a service”.
Oracle World Tour 2023- A Transforming and Thought-provoking Experience
With the current socio-economic uncertainty, this transformation can be challenging so we were intrigued to hear how companies are leveraging Oracle’s HCM Cloud solution to engage and enable their workforce, building resilience and remaining agile in the face of new challenges and opportunities. The talk emphasized the critical role of technology in helping organizations adapt to changing circumstances, and the importance of investing in the right solutions to build a more resilient and adaptable workforce.
